We want everyone to be able to shop and read on bubbledrunk.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or other assistive technology.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- Text and buttons with enough color contrast to read comfortably
- Every page usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
- Descriptive alt text on product and journal images
- Headings, labels and landmarks that make sense to screen readers
- Pages that work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens
- Animation that respects your reduced motion setting
Known limits
Checkout is run by Shopify, and some embedded content, like YouTube videos in the journal, comes from other companies. We can't fully control those, but we'll pass along any problems you find.
